Hanover (15.10.2019) – You could certainly see, hear, feel and understand Hornetsecurity from the 8th through 10th of October at it-sa 2019. In keeping with the slogan “Ich will Cloud” (I want Cloud), the Email Cloud Security Provider offered an extraordinary program in its 200 m² booth, and  the company showcased its new Email Security Services in an exciting presentation.

Hornetsecurity and its eight partners welcomed the exhibition audience every hour with a spectacular stage show that included live music and acrobatic performances. The increasing cyber-crime targeting Microsoft Office 365 was the topic of discussion, with Hornetsecurity focusing on the risks of unencrypted data storage in the Office 365 cloud. The email security specialist also provided the solution to the existing problem – in the form of its latest security service: 365 Total Encryption. Immediately after each show, Hornetsecurity presented the mechanisms and functions of the service during a live demonstration. 365 Total Encryption encrypts all content of all emails stored in the Microsoft Office 365 Cloud, providing the best possible protection against the growing threat of espionage, data theft and other hacker attack methods.

In addition to interesting and informative conversations about current topics and trends in the IT security industry at the Hornetsecurity booth, an interactive live quiz invited visitors to take part and challenge their IT know-how. The winners received prizes such as Marshall headphones, keyfinders and Hornetsecurity laptop bags.

At Knowledge Forum 11 of it-sa, Hornetsecurity’s Partner Account Manager Tassilo Totzeck talked about why email in particular represents such a large attack vector in the area of cybercrime, how exactly a cyber-attack takes place and why Microsoft Office 365 is increasingly becoming the focus of hackers.

After the daily program, the email security expert hosted parties on two evenings: “Me and The Heat” and DJ Abuze provided some great beats and the Hornet crew tapped fresh free beer for the guests.

After the last live show on Thursday afternoon, Daniel Hofmann and Daniel Blank, CEOs of Hornetsecurity, once again thanked all partners, distributors, employees and artists for three sensational days at the event in Nuremberg. The success of the fair for the Hornetsecurity partners has been confirmed.  With more than 500 interesting conversations and new contacts, it is now time for the follow-up work.

it-sa once again lived up to its reputation as Europe’s largest IT security trade fair: This year, around 15,600 attendees visited the four exhibition halls, where around 750 companies presented their latest IT security solutions. Hornetsecurity is proud to be part of the growing IT security industry and to make a major contribution to increasing security in email communications.
