Our Story

Cloud computing has become an integral part of today’s business world, and it is difficult to imagine IT departments without this technology. Hornetsecurity has been focused on cloud computing since its inception in 2007. It was founded by Oliver Dehning and Daniel Hofmann under the name “Antispameurope” in Hanover, Germany—the provincial capital of Lower Saxony—where it is headquartered today.

Since then, the company has grown to around 200 employees offering comprehensive security solutions in the fields of email security and data storage. In addition to offering high level protection for customers’ IT infrastructures, Hornetsecurity solutions stand out by being user friendly and easy to manage, and for their delivery of high level transparency and control.
