Bundesverband IT-Sicherheit e.V. (TeleTrusT/German IT Security Association) is a network of excellence, which includes domestic and foreign members from the industry, public authorities and academic institutions, as well as thematically related partner organizations. TeleTrusT offers forums for experts, organizes events or event participations, and comments on current security issues. TeleTrusT is a member of the European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI).
EuroCloud Deutschland_eco is the association of the German cloud computing industry, which it represents in the pan-European EuroCloud network. EuroCloud Deutschland_eco promotes acceptance and meets the demand for cloud services in the German market. The initiative was launched by AppSphere AG to join the Germany-based providers of various cloud computing services (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS). The goal is to ensure greater legal certainty by using current legal standards applicable in Germany as the basis for contracts concluded with customers.
The primary goal of the initiative “IT Security Made in Germany”, founded in 2005, is to coordinate the common economic, commercial, technical and scientific interests of all participating companies and institutions vis-à-vis the political and economic system, academic institutions and the general public in Germany and on an international level.
As a strong community with over 1,200 members from the fields of information and communication technology, Hannover IT combines different competences for initiating and developing successful IT projects in the Hannover region, and provides a link between academic institutions and the IT industry.
The Pittsburgh Technology Council focuses on regional economic development in and around Pittsburgh, PA.
