365 Total Backup – Monitoring & Alerts and update on OneNote restore operation
Enhancements
- New Monitoring & Alerts screen in 365 Total Backup
An improved and renamed interface has been introduced to simplify the monitoring and management of reports and email alerts.- The screen previously known as Alerts has been renamed to Monitoring & Alerts.
- It now includes two dedicated tabs: Monitoring and Alerts.
- Tab: Monitoring
- Centralized access to all 365 Total Backup report types:
- Backup status report
- Audit report
- Itemized billing report
- The existing export functionality is retained.
- API links for report exports can now be managed from a central interface.
- Centralized access to all 365 Total Backup report types:
- Tab: Alerts
- Displays and manages all email alerts generated by 365 Total Backup, including both default and optional alerts.
- Allows administrators to define and manage the recipients of alert emails.
- Updating OneNote restore operation wizard due to Microsoft limitations:
- Due to the retired support for authentication tokens with application permission for MSGraph OneNote by Microsoft, the restore destinations “Restore notebooks to their original location” and “Restore notebooks to a different location” have been removed from the restore operation wizards in 365 Total Backup.
- OneNote restore to ZIP Archive is still available.
