Control Panel Release 6.59.0.0

Written by Hornetsecurity / 15.07.2026 / Control Panel,Release-Notes

Enhancements:

  • Redesign and update of Allow & Deny list:
    • A new, dedicated Link Protection page for managing URL entries used by Teams Protection and/or Secure Links, with its own filtering, CSV import/export, and a downloadable sample file.
    • When adding an entry, admins choose whether it applies to Teams Protection, Secure Links, or both; Teams Protection entries always apply at the customer level rather than to a specific owner.
    • A redesigned Email Protection view: entries are now grouped by type (IP, Senders, Domains), URL/site-domain entries moved out to Link Protection, validation errors show before submitting, and Export/Import/New entry actions and filters are now in the main toolbar.
    • A matching UI refresh for the User Panel view, including pre-submit validation and a CSV sample file; the User Panel does not include Link Protection or URL entries.
  • Added a Conditional Access for Microsoft 365 login toggle on the Add-ins and Connectors page. This allows existing Hybrid/API mode customers to apply their Microsoft Entra Conditional Access policies (e.g. MFA, location, device rules) to their Control Panel login.
  • DKIM and DMARC validation for incoming emails is now enabled by default and reapplied automatically whenever Spam & Malware Protection is reactivated.
  • Admins now see a pop-in prompting them to upgrade Microsoft app permissions ahead of Microsoft’s required Mail-Advanced.ReadWrite.All permission change for link rewriting and subject tagging.

Improvements:

  • Invalid fields in the Microsoft 365 onboarding form are now marked with a warning icon, making validation errors easier to spot.
  • Admins with only the Email Security role can now create and edit Allow/Deny list entries.
  • Updated the “Upgrade my permissions” banner button to use the correct styling.
  • Fixed the Total Protection onboarding wizard closing itself immediately after onboarding.
  • Removed the outdated “EPD to AutoRemediate” login pop-in and the AutoRemediate banner on the Advanced Threat Protection page. Instead, the new Microsoft permissions upgrade pop-in is shown.
  • Fixed the quarantined email delivery page displaying in the wrong language.
  • Corrected the secondary environment destination server tooltip, which incorrectly stated port numbers were not accepted.
  • Enlarged the logo in the User Panel to match its size in the Control Panel.
  • Fixed Security Awareness E-Training being assigned outside a user’s configured business hours.
  • Validation errors on the “Add secondary environment” form now highlight the invalid input fields instead of only showing a generic message.
  • Fixed truncated Spanish text in the “Source IP geolocation” tooltip on the Email Details page.
  • Improved visibility of the Email Security Mode list in the bright theme.
  • Product names (Email Archiving, Continuity, Signature and Disclaimer, Encryption) in the email configuration mode selector no longer get incorrectly translated and now always display in English.
  • Fixed Service Dashboard → Administration tables not resizing properly on narrower windows.
