Customers gain access to new products and even more extensive service

At the beginning of 2019, the IT security company Spamina was acquired by the German email cloud security provider, Hornetsecurity. Now the integration process is completed – while existing customers can look forward to many advantages – the combined forces are now ready to further expand their European market leadership.
For a year, IT security experts from both companies worked on adapting Spamina’s processes and services to Hornetsecurity’s technical environment with success! From now on, the business will continue under a common branding: Spamina is now called Hornetsecurity.

Numerous advantages for customers

For Spamina’s customers this process does not mean any disadvantages. On the contrary: by moving to the Hornetsecurity platform, they are given completely new opportunities.

Leonardo Rodriguez, Head of Channel Management IBERIA & LATAM at Spamina, is delighted: “Thanks to the migration to the Hornetsecurity environment, we can greatly expand the services we can offer our customers. Together we are now able to offer 24/7 support. We have also gained access to even more extensive technical resources, we now have 9 redundantly secured data centers worldwide. The highest security and data protection standards are thus guaranteed more than ever. One of the biggest benefits we see is that Spamina customers will have access to a wide range of new services, including the 365 Total Protection Suite.”

365 Total Protection Suite now available for Iberian and LATAM markets

More and more companies use Microsoft Office 365 and communicate sensitive information in the Microsoft cloud, leading to massive cyber-attacks on the service. However, the 365 Total Protection Suite offers effective protection, depending on the scope enabled: from Spam and Malware Protection to Advanced Threat Protection, to data encryption with the encryption service and many additional security features.

But that’s not all: Signature and Disclaimer or the SIEM Connector are further examples of the numerous innovations. Hornet.email is also a new version of Parla, the email service with an integrated security system. In particular, the expertise of our international colleagues will be a great help to us.
