Documentation Portal Redesign
Main functions
The new Documentation Portal introduces a redesigned experience across the entire portal, including the landing page, navigation, search, and documentation pages.
Enhancements
- The portal has a refreshed, responsive design with updated branding and light and dark appearance options.
- The landing page helps users browse documentation by area or service, with search positioned alongside these navigation options.
- Search results can be filtered by area and service. Suggestions reflect the selected scope, including when searching from a topic page.
- PDF downloads now reflect the selected Email Security mode. The landing page links to the PDF downloads page, while documentation pages offer the PDF for the currently selected manual.
- The portal now supports Japanese alongside English, German, Spanish, and French. Only selected documents are available in Japanese.
Improvements
- Search loading and filtering have been optimized, and results are displayed in pages of up to 50 items.
- The layout adapts more smoothly to smaller screens, and landing-page filters and search selections behave more consistently across navigation.
- The updated template improves handling of unavailable pages and language changes.
- Some manuals and supplementary how-to information previously listed on the landing page are now integrated into related documentation.
