Control Panel Release 6.60.0.0
Important note: Password security update for inactive Hornet.email accounts
We’re strengthening password security for Hornet.email accounts. On September 7, 2026, the current password for any account that has remained inactive since April 28, 2026 will no longer work. No automated password reset email will be sent to affected users.
Affected users will need a Control Panel administrator to issue new credentials before they can sign in again.
Users who sign in to Hornet.email on or after April 28, 2026 are unaffected—no action is required.
Enhancements
- LDAP login now locates users more reliably by checking customer-specific identity fields first, followed by common default fields, while still applying the customer’s access rules.
- In Settings > Mailboxes, administrators can now change Continuity emergency passwords even when the Force users to set emergency password option is disabled.
- In the email details view of Email Live Tracking, the authentication results DKIM=Permfail and DMARC=Quarantine are now handled correctly.
- The initial synchronization between the Control Panel and Microsoft Entra ID is no longer triggered after a failed onboarding initiation.
- In Email Live Tracking, delegated users can now add senders to the deny list when managing delegated mailboxes.
- The contrast in the date picker of Email Live Tracking has been improved.
- In Deny & Allow Lists, validation is now performed earlier when adding a new allow list entry.
- In Deny & Allow Lists, the CSV import experience for allow lists has been improved by restricting imports to the currently selected tab (Email Protection or Link Protection). Users are now warned if their CSV file contains entries that do not belong to the selected tab.
- The CSV sample available in the Deny & Allow Lists section of the User Panel now contains only fields that are relevant to end users.
- Deny and allow lists are now sorted by creation date by default, with the newest entries displayed first.
- Shared mailbox synchronization is now more reliable when mailboxes are moved to the primary environment.
Improvements
- In Email Live Tracking and Audit Logs, predefined calendar ranges now remain visually synchronized with the selected date range.
- The language and time zone pop-in displayed during first login now correctly uses the default language configured in Settings > Service Dashboard > Default Timezone and Language.
- In Email Live Tracking, filtering by Action > No action incorrectly displayed only clean emails and hid infomails. This has been fixed.
- The contrast in the Terms and Conditions tab under Settings > Service Dashboard has been improved to ensure the text is readable.
- In the User Panel, changing the language now correctly updates time formatting, including AM/PM localization.
- The Secure Links page now displays correctly for users with the Email Security role.
- In the Deny & Allow Lists screen of the User Panel, the redundant Delete button displayed on the right side of the table has been removed, as the action is already available from the More menu.
- In the Deny & Allow Lists screen of the User Panel, the alignment of table entries has been corrected.
- In Archiving Audit Access, search criteria and the selected date range are now preserved more consistently when returning from the email details view.
- The logo displayed on the confirmation button when creating a new allow or deny list entry is now consistent.
- Missing labels for Teams Protection entries in the Audit Log have been restored.
