Enhancements
- Full support for Proxmox PVE environments has been introduced.
- Support for Proxmox PVE v9.0 has been added.
- A new backup methodology has been implemented, delivering improved storage efficiency and backup performance compared to the Early Access version.
- Due to the introduction of the new backup methodology, Proxmox PVE versions 8.0, 8.1, 8.2, and 8.3 are no longer supported.
- Proxmox PVE support has been expanded to include the following VM Backup features:
- Restore Virtual Disk
- File Granular Restore
- Exchange Item Level Restore
- Boot from Backup (Verification Mode only)
- Full Test Restore
- Scheduled Test Drills
- Licensing for Proxmox hosts and VMs is now aligned with other environments. Proxmox environments upgraded from Early Access versions must be assigned a license to continue operating.
Improvements
- Fixed an issue causing cross-platform restore operations from VMware to Hyper-V to fail.
- The Replication screen now correctly displays the full Virtual Machine list when a large number of VMs are configured for replication.
- Offsite backups are no longer incorrectly marked as overdue in the Daily Status Report when Continuous Data Protection is configured.
- Screenshots sent via Technical Support Chat can now be opened directly in the chat.
