Control Panel Version 6.47.0.0
Enhancements
- Role-based Access Control:
- Customers have the option to assign admins to a specific Product (module of Control Panel or set of features in the Control Panel).
- The current “Admin” role is renamed to “Global Admin” role to differentiate between access levels. Therefore, the “Global Admin” role inherits all permissions of the previous “Admin” role.
- Only “Global Admin” role is allowed to assign new Global Admins, contact HSE Support Desk, or activate/deactivate products.
- Product-specific admins have limited access and can only assign admins for the products (services) they have access to themselves.
- Improved the “Service Desk” role to better suit customers’ growing needs.
- Simplified the list of Control Panel roles.
- Update the Service Dashboard page and Roles table to improve the UI and UX.
- Business Center:
- A new Business Center section has been introduced in the Control Panel, allowing partners to manage trials and subscriptions for all Hornetsecurity products from a single interface.
- Key features include order of new trials, request trial cancellations, and request subscription terminations.
- Global Admins can assign the “Business Manager” role to selected users to grant access to the Business Center features.
- Ex-Post Deletion and Ex-Post Deletion Alert are becoming AutoRemediate and AutoRemediate Alert:
- New permissions need to be delegated through Microsoft.
- The feature is available to customers with 365 Total Protection in Hybrid mode and MX customers with Ex-Post Deletion enabled.
- In the 365 Total Protection screen, the instructions to obtain external onboarding links have been improved.
- The rule descriptions in AI Recipient Validation have been updated for more clarity.
- User interface improvements to Email Live Tracking page.
- The classification gauges of Email Live Tracking statistics have been updated.
- New auditing events have been added to the Tenant Management interface to improve tracking and transparency of user actions.
- The user panel layout has been optimized by limiting the number of tiles per row to four, ensuring a cleaner and more consistent display.
- The default time format dropdown now shows “AM/PM” instead of just “AM” for improved clarity regarding time selection.
- A preview feature has been added to quarantine report templates, allowing users to review formatting before sending.
