About the Role

We are looking for a Service Reliability Team lead to lead our SRE team and ensure the reliability and availability of our platforms at scale.

In this role, you will be responsible for making sure the team delivers on its core mission: keeping our services available, stable, and performant for all our customers. This means organizing the team’s day-to-day work, structuring projects, and setting clear priorities aligned with business needs.

Beyond team coordination, you will work closely with other teams (engineering, security, product) to share information, anticipate changes, and help build a realistic and impactful roadmap for our platforms.

You will remain close to the technical topics, guiding decisions around reliability, automation, and resilience, while progressively shaping how we operate and improve our production environment over time.

You will:

• Own and elevate the reliability strategy of our platforms
• Drive high availability and fault tolerance across all services
• Build a culture of proactive monitoring, rapid incident response, and continuous improvement
• Lead initiatives to automate operations and eliminate manual toil
• Ensure security and compliance are embedded into operations by design
• Act as a key partner to engineering teams to enable safe and fast deployments

To support this mission, you will lead a team of 4 experienced SREs and have the opportunity to expand and shape the team through 3 additional hires.

What you and your team will be doing:

Reliability & Operations Excellence

• Ensure 24/7 availability and performance of production systems
• Monitor, analyze, and respond to alerts and incidents with precision
• Lead incident management and post-mortem culture focused on learning, not blame
• Continuously improve system resilience through redundancy and fault-tolerant design
• Oversee deployment and operation of production platforms using modern configuration management tools

Security & Compliance

• Enforce and continuously improve security policies and practices
• Ensure systems are up-to-date and protected against vulnerabilities
• Collaborate with security teams to raise the overall security posture

Automation & Innovation

• Drive automation initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce operational overhead
• Promote GitOps and modern DevOps practices
• Stay ahead through technology watch and continuous innovation

Collaboration & Leadership

• Act as a bridge between engineering, security, and operations teams
• Support and guide teams in deploying reliable and scalable solutions
• Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, and excellence

Your Profile

Technical Expertise

• Strong experience with Linux environments and production systems
• Solid understanding of SRE/DevOps principles and best practices
• Experience with monitoring, alerting, and observability tools
• Familiarity with GitLab, CI/CD pipelines, and GitOps approaches
• Knowledge of configuration management tools
• Good understanding of security best practices in production environments
• Comfortable working in an English-speaking environment
