Compliance Guard Contest

Terms and Conditions for the “Name our Compliance Guard” Contest

1. Organizer

The contest is organized by
Hornetsecurity GmbH
Am Listholze 78, 30177 Hannover, Germany
(hereinafter referred to as the “Organizer”).

2. Contest Period

Participation in the contest is possible from October 7, 2025, until October 30, 2025, 11:59 p.m. (CEST).
Entries received after this time cannot be considered.

3. Eligibility

Participation is open to all natural persons aged 18 or older who are residents of the European Union.
Employees of the Hornetsecurity Group and their relatives are excluded from participation.

4. Participation

• To take part, a name suggestion for the “Compliance Guard” must be submitted via the designated landing page.
• Each person may submit only one suggestion.
• By participating, entrants agree to these terms and conditions.

5. Selection of the Winner

• All valid entries will be reviewed by Hornetsecurity after the end of the participation period.
• The most creative and fitting name suggestion will be selected by the marketing team.
• The selection will take place by November 7, 2025.
• The winner will then be notified by email.

6. Prize

The winner will receive:

• A Hornetsecurity merch package
• Their own Mini Compliance Guard action figure

The prize is non-transferable and cannot be paid out in cash.
If the winner does not respond within 14 days of being notified, the Organizer reserves the right to select a new winner.

7. Announcement and Use of Name

• After the contest concludes, the Compliance Guard will officially be named using the selected name.
• By participating, the winner agrees that their first name and the submitted name suggestion may be published as part of the contest communication (e.g. on the website or social media).

8. Exclusion from Participation

The Organizer reserves the right to exclude participants from the contest if violations of these terms and conditions, attempts at manipulation, or other improper actions are detected.

9. Data Protection

• Personal data collected in connection with the contest (e.g. name, email address) will be used solely for conducting the contest and contacting the winner.
• The data will not be shared with third parties and will be deleted after the contest ends, unless legal retention obligations apply.
• Further information on data protection can be found in the Organizer’s Privacy Policy.

10. Legal Recourse

Legal recourse is excluded.
There is no enforceable claim to the prize.

If the contest is communicated via social media platforms (e.g. LinkedIn, Instagram), the following applies:
This contest is not connected to these platforms in any way and is neither sponsored, supported, nor organized by them.
