Configurable archive period of up to 30 years
Different archive periods apply to business emails. “Normal” business emails should be kept for six years, whereas accounting documents or invoices must be kept for ten years. However, job applicant data received via email must be deleted after finalization of the application procedure. These requirements can be met with flexible archiving periods.
The easy-to-use import feature lets you import emails and attachments from other databases into the Hornetsecurity email archive, either in .pst or Outlook format. This way, older emails can be easily archived at a later point.
Export of the entire archive
Exporting an entire mail archive to data carriers is possible at any time, upon request at a fixed price.
Unique assignment of archives when changing email addresses
If a user receives a new email address, the archived messages can be assigned to this new address, allowing the user to have continued access to the data.
Emails that land in the Hornetsecurity email archive are saved in their original format – the coding is not important here. This applies both to different languages and characters as well as to encrypted messages.
