The partner dialogue is the highlight of the Hornetsecurity event calendar. This year , the Cloud Security Expert from Hanover invited partners and guests to two days of networking, informative lectures and a very special evening program. This year’s two-day event was held in Düsseldorf, the capital of North Rhine-Westphalia.
On Thursday, September 6th, the partners and employees of Hornetsecurity gathered for the kick-off in the “Sonnendeck” beach bar with Caribbean flair.The evening started with the traditional team activity. This year there were two evening activities for the participants to choose from. Thus, they could prove their abilities in cigar rolling or have an adventurous rafting tour on the Rhine.
While the first group, under the expert guidance of two real Cubans, produced cigars to be proud of, the second group, plunged into the waters of the Rhine in the style of ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’. The water cannons on the three boats provided particularly turbulent fun, which really no one escaped. The result of the tour: completely wet, but well amused partners and hornets. After the rafting group was dry again, we continued together with an exotic Caribbean BBQ. The participants wrapped up the evening with freshly mixed cocktails, relaxed conversations or rhythmic Latino songs on the dance floor.
The following day, several interesting presentations on innovations and developments were already waiting for the participants. After the introduction by Managing Director Daniel Blank, Partner Account Manager Tassilo Totzeck informed the attendees about the latest developments concerning our partner management. There was also news in Product Management area that Yvonne Bernard, Head of Product Management, present to the audience.
Also, there were two workshops on the agenda. These were additionally offered in English for the first time in order to meet the needs of the international attendees. In the “MEDDIC”“ workshop, Mr. Heinrich from TEDIC GmbH presented an approved guiding concept for direct sales, while the second workshop focused on a long-awaited topic: the presentation of a new Hornetsecurity product, which will be officially launched at the it-sa taking place in October.
Finally, the highlight of the second day was approaching: the Partner Awards. This year Hornetsecurity presented the coveted trophies to a total of 31 partners – we congratulate everyone, thank you for the excellent cooperation and look forward to the next Hornetsecurity Partner Dialogue!
