Enhancements:

  • As part of the continuous transition from flash to HTML, the navigation structure within the control panel has undergone significant changes with this release. The central administration module “Management” has been completely dissolved, and its contents have been distributed to individual sub-modules. The following contents in the Control Panel have changed:
    • Webfilter: It was removed from the Reporting & Compliance module and forms its own navigation point with the following content:
      • Workspace (formerly Reports & Compliance > Webfilter)
      • Black & Whitelist (formerly Black & Whitelist Flash)
      • Configuration (formerly Management > Webfilter
      • Statistics (formerly Management > Webfilter)
    • Customer Settings: Under Customer Settings you can manage mailboxes, domains and groups, as well as settings for password and IP restrictions. The following contents can be found under Customer Settings:
      • Mailboxes (formerly Management > Postboxes)
      • Groups (formerly Management > Groups)
      • Domains (formerly Management > Domains)
      • Restrictions (formerly Management > Settings > Restrictions)
    • Security Settings: This navigation point has been extended in its scope and contains most of the outsourced flash modules from the former “Management” module. The following services have been added to the already existing (Hornetdrive and Signature & Disclaimer):
      • Advanced Threat Protection (formerly Management > Email > ATP)
      • Spam Report (formerly Management > Email > Spam Report)
      • Spam Filter (formerly Management > Email > Filtering)
      • Content Control (formerly Management > Email > Content filter)
      • Compliance Filter (formerly Management > Email > Compliance filter)
      • Advanced Routing (formerly Management > Email > Advanced Routing)
      • Archive Audit (formerly Management > Email > Archiving > Audit-Access)
      • Archive (formerly Management > Email > Archiving > Archive)
      • Contingency Covering (formerly Management > Email > Continuity Service)
      • Secure Transport (formerly Management > Email > Encryption)
    • Service Dashboard: “Customer Administration” has been renamed to “Service Dashboard” and contains the main elements related to the administrative work. This is where settings for users, groups and domains are adjusted and the rights are managed.

      • Role management (formerly Management > Settings > Rights Management)
  • Partners now have the option to delete the displayed customers directly.
  • Black & Whitelist, Archive Audit and Role Management are now available in the HTML version.
  • The user language can now be selected independently of the location.
  • Administrators can now enable and disable the Spam Report.
  • Now you can easily create your personal out-of-office note under Settings.

Improvements:

  • The role search has been improved in its functionality.
